As a Safety Speed engineer, Riley Peterson documents parts and drawings that are in existence and the assembly process for future reference. He's constantly brainstorming ways and working to improve features on previously made machines. He spends time designing and creating prototypes on CAD and in the shop.
Peterson graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth with a Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering. He joined Safety Speed in May 2018 after graduation. He interned with Safety Speed in the summer of 2017 and enjoyed the small company working environment.
When Peterson isn't working, he enjoys fishing, biking, taking naps, eating grilled food, and spending time with his wife and family.
